Another Smoothie Bowl Saturday! I can’t stop making these damn bowls – they are quick, satisfying, and fun to dress up. I also follow Nourishing Jessica on Instagram, and every morning she inspires me to eat pretty! Seriously, check her out. But just a forewarning, once you click, you can’t look away, and you will probably be drooling.
This bowl is for all the green goddesses out there. I like to call this the “healthier” version of mint chip ice cream.
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 handful fresh spinach
- 1/2 cup soy milk
- 2 tbs soy/coconut yogurt
- 1 drop vanilla extract
- 1 drop mint extract
- 1 tsp flaxseed oil
- Handful of Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips
Once you blend the above, add to your favorite bowl. Mine is Ivory by Fiestware. Love those bright colors, but sometimes I dig the simple and clean look of Ivory.
Time to dress this beauty up! I went with:
- Chia seeds
- Crushed almonds
- More chocolate chips, obviously
Add as much or as little toppings as you’d like – or hey, if you are on the go… just throw this in a to-go cup. Delicious and healthy, either way. Have a wonderful Saturday, loves! xx Bianca
