Blueberry Lavender Bowl

Mmmm, another super smoothie bowl on this beautiful Saturday morning! My love affair with lavender continues. Isn’t this bowl a gorgeous color?!

Honestly, I think that my favorite part of smoothie bowls and smoothies in general is seeing what color comes of it. Color is everything!! Well, maybe to some. Anyways, this was the perfect start to my day. Make what makes you happy, right?

The Recipe

You will need:

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 small handful raw almonds
  • 1 /2 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbs flaxseed oil
  • 1 tsp lavender extract

Mix up, pour in bowl, and top with your faaavorite things! This week, I added more almonds, frozen blueberries, chia seeds, and shredded coconut.

    I really want to try edible lavender but I have been afraid to, though I have tried weirder stuff so I’m just being silly. I guess it’s probably a deeper fear of being too much a “hipster/hippy”. Like why should I care?
