100 Earthy, Boho, Plant-Inspired Baby Names

100 Earthy, Boho, Plant-Inspired Baby Names

I wrote a post similar to this in the past, and it did really well. It sends a ton of traffic to the blog, actually! This makes me happy, because I love posts like this. These are the names that catch my eye, and I think they are pretty appropriate for my audience ;)

I’ll be honest – I am very much looking forward to motherhood. It’s something that I’ve wanted my whole life. 1. Lovely names. :) My kids are Rian River and Oran Rain. Rian and Oran are Irish names (Rian rhymes with Ian or Cian) and I wanted their middle names to be hippy/nature names. :)

    1. Gorgeous names, mammy! River is my absolute favorite for a boy. But my favorite for a girl is Liv, so I am always worried if we have one of each, I’ll have to sacrifice one so they don’t sound too similar. I could always use River as a middle, like you did. It’s just such a great, strong name! <3

  2. I love
    Elowen
    Eden
    Fleur
    Dylan
    Wren
    Zara
    Zella
    Finch
    India
    Indigo
    Iris
    Isla
    Juniper
    Forrest
    Fox
    Violet
    Vita
    Levi
    and
    Phoenix. They are Gorgeous names.

    1. Absolutely gorgeous, right? I especially love Iris, Zella, Elowen, Fox, and Phoenix. So many great names… it’s going to be so tough to choose someday!

      1. Yeah! It’s tempting to just use all the names. :-)

      1. We have a Judah Hawk and Zamaya Skye (“za-may-uh”). If we have a third and he’s a boy the name will be Titus Bear. Still working on a third girl name. Hubby likes Nova and Clementine

      2. Stunning names! I’ve never heard Zamaya before, but it is beautiful. I LOVE Judah Hawk. Bear is such a sweet middle, too. Clementine <3

  3. […] thought it would be fun to write down some of my favorite earthy/plant-based baby names [read: hippie names] – for all dem crunchy ladies out there ;) – including myself, […]

  4. Love this list! Wish I found it when I was pregnant. It took me FOREVER to choose something that would fit our little boy perfectly, I knew he would be passionate and moody like his mommy, he was born the day before my birthday. In the end we chose Zephyr Phoenix. We are from California and Zephyr is the first gentle west wind, in my mind our first son. Phoenix is a mythical bird that carries weight beyond its own and is reborn from the ashes. I’m pretty happy with it, even though it takes some people by surprise. (And for the record, my husband was on board specifically because he loves the Red Hot Chili Peppers)

    1. What a handsome and strong name! I love both meanings, and love how unique it is. I really appreciate an unexpected name! Thank you so much for your comment :) xx
