There’s so much to love this time of year. Here are some of my faves from the past few weeks.
You’ve probably heard “Take Me to Church” on the radio. It’s chilling and heartbreaking and powerful and incredible and it’ll give you goosebumps, just like the video. But all of his other stuff is just as good, if not better. It’s on Spotify, so get on it. You will not be disappointed. My favorites: “Someone New” and “From Eden.”
#2: Gilmore Girls
You’ve probably noticed that the only thing we talk about on this blog is Gilmore Girls and The Walking Dead. So be it. They are the greatest two shows ever. Bianca got me addicted to TWD and in turn, I got her addicted to GG. I’ve seen the entire series dozens of times from start to finish, and I’m currently on my second re-watch since it came to Netflix. I just can’t help it. Lorelai is my favorite character to ever exist, but this time through, I am especially loving Emily. Even though she can be evil, she loves her family and she’s smarter and more clever than anyone else on the show.
#3: Getting into the Christmas Spirit
I’m usually a bit of a Scrooge at this time of year. I like Christmas and all, but I never decorate or bake cookies or anything like that. But I’m getting into the spirit this year! As you can see by the tiniest tree in the world that I’ve decorated and put in my living room.
#4: This Photo of Matthew Gray Gubler & Bianca for Sharing
I know I sound nuts but the other day I was feeling particularly crabby and shared this with Bianca via Facebook chat. Her response. “oh noo saraaaa. HOLD ON.” followed by a link to this image a second later. It did turn my mood around.
#5: This Dog
This is Cash. He is my parents’ dog. He is a 7-year-old German Shepherd who I love with all of my heart. They got him just a few weeks after I moved out to go to college so he’s basically my replacement. Still, he’s my favorite every day but I get to spend lots of time with him next week for Christmas and I just can’t wait. See you soon, puppy! <3
What are you loving this week? xo Sara
