It’s been a little while since I’ve done one of these! I love to look back over the past few weeks and talk about what I’ve been interested in lately. I think it’s a great way to remind yourself of the things you’re passionate about – whether they’re big or small, even if others may find them trivial. If it’s something you love, it’s important to you, and that’s all that matters! Take a look at what I’ve been loving and let me know what you’re obsessing over in the comments!
#1. Granola Bars
I am on the hunt for the perfect grab-and-go breakfast granola bar recipe, and my wishlist is long: low-ish calories, high protein, whole unprocessed ingredients. I made these, above, from Cookie & Kate the other day, and they were wonderful. I’m working on perfecting my own recipe, though! You know I’ll share it once I got it down, friends.
#2. Area Rugs
When John and I move in July, our new place is all hardwood, so we’ll definitely need some big cozy area rugs! I’ve been shopping like crazy, trying to find a few I like. I think rugs bring such a warmth to a home. They’re one of my favorite ways to decorate, but unfortunately I’ve lived in carpeted (ugly!) apartments for the past few years. P.S. Bianca’s rug game is on point. Look at her Instagram for proof.
#3. The Walking Dead Photo Recaps
Listen, I know The Walking Dead is over for now, but I’m missing it like crazy. These photo recaps keep me going. I re-read them all the time because they’re hilarious. Even though they aren’t actual recaps, there are definitely spoilers, so don’t read them if you aren’t caught up!
#4. The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows
My high school emo kid is showing, but these definitions of made up words are so beautiful and haunting, I can’t help it.
