I’ve done pretty well with kind-ing up my makeup bag and medicine cabinet. I’ve got my favorite Everyday Coconut shampoo, Alba conditioner, and dozens of Burt’s Bees lip balms floating around. But when it came to what was under my kitchen sink, I had a harder time. But I’ve been slowly replacing my harsh, animal-tested cleaning products (I mean I love Windex as much as the next but no animals need to suffer for my windows to be streak-free) with much kinder alternatives. Here are a few of my favorites!
This smells INCREDIBLE. I inpulse-bought it at Target and now I wipe down my counters even when they are spotless just so I can smell it. To die for. I’m pretty sure the coconut scent is a Target exclusive.
I wasn’t sure if these would hold up to my trusty Cascade, but they work just as well! And the price is great, too.
These are so expensive. So expensive! I don’t buy them often, but this my favorite scent of anything ever, so I buy a box maybe once a year and use them very sparingly. If you can afford it for every load, go for it. They work well!
Here’s the thing. I wash like 5 dishes a year. I love my dishwasher and I absolutely refuse to live in a place without one. My first apartment didn’t have a dishwasher, and I actually threw dishes away because I was too lazy to wash them. I’m not embarrassed. I know my weaknesses! Ever since then, I’ve only lived in places with dishwashers. So when I buy dish soap, it lasts me for years. So yeah… I’ve had this forever, it works great, it’s dish soap. Done.
Those are my favorites! Still on the hunt for a good laundry detergent and disinfecting wipes. Share your favorites in the comments and I’ll pick them up! Bianca and I have become obsessed with trying new cleaning products and text each other crazy things like “it’s 6 a.m. and I just cleaned my house and I’m so happy” and “buy this immediately” complete with photos of shopping baskets overflowing with 5 bottles of dish soap.
