There’s so much in life that I am absolutely in love with that I wanted to compile it all in one place. I know we had a vegan version of this last week, but hey… let’s broaden the horizon, shall we? I hope that some of this inspires you guys – and I would love to hear some of the things that you’re loving in the comments. Let’s talk, let’s share.
Here we go…!
Pretty much everyone who knows me + their moms have heard me raving about this show because seriously. IT IS EVERYTHING PEOPLE. 80’s nostalgia mixed with chills and feels… oh man. The characters are your best friends, the score is eerie, and the story is captivating. It is quite literally, out of this world. If you’re a sci-fi fan (or not even), you need to give these 8-episodes a go. I promise, you will be captured within the first half hour. Plus, GIRL POWER! <3 <3 <3
Living in New England means that you don’t get a lot of lychee fruit around here. I’m not even embarrassed to admit that one of Florida’s selling points is the fact that you can have so much tropical fruit in your own backyard (I need a mango tree, people). Lychee is one of those fruits that I love so freaking much, but it’s never around. EXCEPT when we ran into Stop and Shop (which we never shop here) and saw these babies!! I went back twice to load up. More more more!
Mint Julips Lip Scrub
Lush at it again with the best cruelty-free (+vegan!) products. A coworker of mine showed me this sugary lip scrub and now I am obsessed. You just scrub and then lick it off – it’s genius, really.
TLC Coffee Roasters
Love me some good ‘ol coffee from this local place. It’s my current favorite. They have a ton of fancy flavors, but I just love the house blend with extra soy milk + 2 sugar in the raw packets. That’s the good stuff ;)
I made these a while ago, but a couple people have tagged me on IG with this pic. And I am really loving it. I’m probably the most proud of this recipe. I don’t even like rock candy usually, but they are stunning and that is all that matters, right? Right. You can find the rock candy donut recipe here.
The Hand of Fatima
As the product copywriter for an jewelry company who is heavy into symbology, I’ve been loving all the ancient symbols and history that comes along with the job. One of my favorites is the Hand of Fatima. To put it simply, it is a symbol for feminine power, worn to defend against negative energy. That’s all I need to hear. I wear it everyday. Can you find it in the above pic? It’s the silver hand with the gorgeous design ;)
You’d think I would have turned into a mushroom by now with my diet lately. I have been craving portobello mushrooms like crazy. Joe laughs when he sees them stockpiled high in the fridge. I can’t stop! I love to cut them up into cubes and cook over medium heat with a little olive oil and pink himalayan salt. They shrink when cooked, so I totally eat 4-5 at a time. It’s fine.
Taking back to my youth right here, but Modest Mouse always has been a favorite of mine. It’s just so fun to dance to. We went to see them a couple weeks ago for the first time, and they just blew my mind. They are just awesome live. So now, I’m on a Modest Mouse kick – the above song is my all-time faaaaavorite from my fave album of theirs.
Blue and Green Color Schemes
Blues, greens, turquoise, and even a deep indigo… I’ve always been a cool color kind of girl. But lately, I’ve just been obsessed with all things blue and green. I keep my eyes peeled for it – like the above photo. It has my heart. Just look at that palette! Ugh. <3
So this just may be my baby fever talking, but I have been extra in love with all little things. Joe and I definitely want to start a family sooner rather than later, and I can’t help but be obsessed with all the cute things. I even have a pretty robust Pinterest board. I’m very excited for our own little baby bird in the near future, and this stuff has my heart lately. <3
