I wanted to share some photos from the lodge we stayed at in Maine, because it was just so charming and beautiful. We were beyond impressed with this place. We stayed at the Lodge on the Cove. This post isn’t sponsored or in collaboration with them in any way, we just really enjoyed our stay.
You may have saw a couple sneak peaks of this place on my IG, but below is a whole lot more photos of the grounds and some of our favorite things about this place.
What I really loved most is how clean this place was. Everything was in pristine condition. Bright, vibrant, and airy. The rooms were large and accommodating and the beds/linens were SO comfortable. We had a nice king sized bed… it was heaven.
I also really loved how many sitting areas they have – and beautiful ones, at that. They have a whole game room area – from puzzles to board games, to giant Jenga. I would love to come back when Willow is older, because I feel like we’d get so much more use out of that as a family. They also have a restaurant on site, The Dory. We grabbed some picking things and sat by the pool and snacked. The pool area is also beautiful, with a view of the cove.
For breakfast, they have complimentary muffins, bananas, apples, coffee, and tea. My husband enjoyed that, for sure.
We visited a couple Kennebunkport beaches and the front desk gave us a free parking pass, so it costs us nothing. That was also a great perk. We were also only about 5-7 minutes from the main part of town, so it was very easy going back and forth (especially with a 10-month old in tow).
Overall, we were just so over the moon with this place. It looked straight out of Pinterest, I won’t lie. The weather was perfect and we just had the most wonderful few days. See some of the pics below. If you are ever looking ton stay somewhere in Maine, I highly recommend this place! xo
