At Home: Favorite Vegan Cookbooks

Favorite Vegan Cookbooks

Any cookbook lovers out there? Blogs and websites are awesome, I know… but… there is just something so special about cracking open a cookbook and flipping through it. The pages covered into excess food and flour (just me?) and star-ratings and notes scribbled all over. I love it!

I wanted to share some of my favorite vegan cookbooks with you. I am constantly grabbing inspiration from these amazing authors, and I think they deserve some recognition. Plus, someday I hope I can join the exclusive club of a cookbook author. It’s definitely a dream on my bucket list. I’ve written an e-book, so at least that’s a start.

The Plantiful Table

Andrea Duclos

Drea of Ohdeardrea is such an inspiring human, no matter what she is blogging about. When her cookbook hit Amazon years ago, I couldn’t buy it fast enough. It is easily my favorite cookbook of all time, and I am constantly pulling inspiration and ideas from it. Colorful, bold, and flavorful. It’s a must-have. Find it HERE.

Thug Kitchen

Michelle Davis and Matt Holloway

You need the damn book simply because their use of profanity is absolutely hysterical. Aside from giving you a laugh the entire recipe, their ideas are fresh and fun. And they educate on cooking along the way. Every person should have this book – vegetarian or not! Find it HERE.

The Vegan Stoner

Sarah Conrique and Graham I. Haynes

I picked this book up initially because of the quirky illustrations – even the ingredients are drawn. I love everything about it – it’s short and sweet, but holds some great (and very fast and easy) recipes. How could you not love it? Find it HERE.

The Taco Cleanse

Wes Allison, Stephanie Bogdanich, Molly R. Frisinger, and Jessica Morris

Tacos… and I am THERE. I usually stick with the same taco ingredients, but this recipe book forces me to think outside the box. There are SO MANY WAYS TO EAT A TACO. This idea is brilliant, and it definitely deserves a spot on this list. Super inspiring. Find it HERE.

Veganomicon

Isa Chandra Moskowitz and Terry Hope Romero

The holy grail of all vegan cookbooks. I use this book solely for inspiration – I love flipping through every once in a while and seeing what catches my eye. There are so many different options, that you could get lost in in forever. Really good stuff here – plus, the name. <3 Find it HERE.

What are some of your favorite cookbooks? It doesn’t have to be vegetarian or vegan, either. Cookbooks are a great source of inspiration, and anything can be made however you’d like. Share away – I love new books. xx bianca
