I’ve compiled all our toddler Easter baskets throughout the toddler years to inspire you as you put together your own baskets. I have two girls (so these are girl-focused ideas, but can still work for boys too!) One thing to know about me is that I don’t like to pile on a ton of junk and toys that are just going to break in a week. Instead, I choose items that they are going to need or can use outside in the beautiful spring weather. They are intentional with just enough whimsy and fun. We like to focus our holidays less on the “stuff” and more about celebrating the season.
I always try to gift them the exact same things, but different style/color based on their personality. After the basket ideas, I’m also sharing 75+ Easter egg filler ideas.

We can’t get enough of seasonal books in our home. These are all beautiful additions to your shelf. I like to grab mine on Amazon or even better, Book Outlet for bargains (I always search there for titles first!)

18. Bathing suit – if you are going to grab a bathing suit for summer regardless, might as well add as a treat in their basket. I love Target’s Cat & Jack line, but Carters also has some cute ones.
19. Beach towel – a great pairing for the bathing suit.
20. Gardening tools – if you have a garden, your little may want to participate this year. You can find a set anywhere, but here’s a nice set from Amazon.
21. Watering can – can’t garden without a watering can, right?
22. Gardening gloves – so many cute options, like these from Melissa and Doug.
23. Flower or vegetable seeds – grab a couple packs of seeds to plant – so inexpensive and a great spring activity.
Clothing & Accessories
24. Jelly shoes – these are so nostalgic and adorable.
25. Rain boots – for those warm showers ahead.
26. Sneakers – kids’ feet are always growing… find a cute & durable spring pair.
27. Waterproof slip-ons – these are a must for any kid who likes to get dirty outside… Willow lived in them all last summer. Just rinse under the sink!
28. Bunny or spring pajamas – I am living for these cute bunny pjs.
29. Umbrella – you could even use the open umbrella as your “basket.”
30. Spring jacket – something lightweight that will weather all kinds of rainy/windy/cool weather. Target has great options or try your local thrift store!
31. Sun hat – keep those little heads protected with a cute cap.
32. Sunglasses – these flower sunnies are everything (and come with extras for when they inevitably break!)
33. Hair bows & clips – there are a ton of cute options out there. I stuffed some of these in Easter eggs for a hunt.
34. Backpack – love these backpacks for toddlers to pack their “important things” on the go.
35. Socks – a necessity.
36. Underwear – if you are potty training or have a trained kiddo already, a nice fresh set is always appreciated.

37. Play doh & tools – play-doh is so cheap at Target and I have had good luck finding tools at thrift stores.
38. Kinetic sand – this stuff is endless fun for quite a chunk of time.
39. Stamps & ink – Melissa and Doug have great sets that wash off skin easily. Stamps are great egg fillers, too.
40. WaterWow book – these books are mess-free and great for the summer.
41. Chalk – you can find sidewalk chalk at your local Dollar Store, but also love this brand – you can find them at Target, too.
42. Coloring books & new crayons – fresh set.
43. Mess-free coloring set – I LOVE these for clean fun. GREAT on the go.
44. Glitter glue – these are messy but fun.
45. Sticker book – this dolly/fairy sticker book is adorable.
46. Washable markers – these really do wash off so easily. Love the tropical colors.
47. Finger paint – another summertime activity! Take them outside and go crazy with these paints.
48. Beeswax crayons– these Honeysticks are beautiful.

55. Waterbottle or cup – we use these at our house and love them for our 2.5 year old.

58. Cuddle and Kind doll – on the pricier side, but I can’t say enough good things about these beautiful, hand-made dolls. I consider them an heirloom, really. My daughter loves hers. Their mission is amazing, too. Check them out.
59. Slumberkins – another pricier gift, but I love what these represent and think they are just so adorable.
60. Puzzle – this farm one is cute, but there are lots of options on Amazon.
61. Jumprope – a 2-pack if you have two girlies.
62. Memory game – a good starter game for little ones.
63. Play silks – Sarah’s Silks enable endless creativity and are so beautiful.

65. Ribbon wand – this is great for the tiny dancer in your life.

Baby
71. Teether – how cute is this bunny ear teether? Or this carrot teether?
72. Sippy cup – a necessity – Munchkin is a great brand.
73. Rattle – this wooden rattle is simple and sweet.
74. Wubbanub – these are a favorite among infants.
75. Pacifiers – a pack of BIBS pacifiers adds a nice pop of color. Choose from a wide variety, but these are very Easter.
76. Links – the perfect toy for tiny little grasps.
77. Jellycat soft book – love this one for Easter.
78. Bumkins bibs – these bibs catch-all and are easy to clean in between meals.
79. Stacking cups – these are made from recycled milk cartons and are a hit with infants (and toddlers). Beautiful colors, too.
Hygiene Fun
80. Bath bombs – LUSH have the best bath bombs for seasonal fun.

82. Lip balm – for the little Disney fan in your life. There are so many characters to choose from, but this Thumper is perfect for Easter.
83. Band-aids – fun ones, of course.
84. Hairbrush – you can find small ones at the Dollar Tree but if you want to step it up, this bamboo brush is eco-friendly.
85. Nail polish – Piggy Paint is a great choice for small manis and pedis. They are also a nice egg filler.
86. Shampoo – another necessity turned filler. We love Hello Bello in this house.
