#10: Tulin
Okay, so he isn’t officially out yet but will be in 2 months. I am putting him at #10 because his design is cool and I’m really excited to get to know a new villager. All we know right now is that he has a jock personality – his favorite colors, catchphrase, and hobby to come!
#9: Jacques
He’s a total hipster, and I am kinda here for the vibe. As far as smug villagers go, he is one of the better ones. A few fun facts: he has a smug personality, his favorite colors are green and black, his catchphrase is “zut alors,” and he has the music hobby.
#8: Admiral
Cool design, cool personality. What’s not to like? He feels very zen grandpa, which is a mood in itself. A few fun facts: he has a cranky personality, his favorite colors are black and blue, his catchphrase is “aye aye,” and he has the nature hobby.

Okay, her eyebrows are a little intense for me (espcially since she is peppy) but overall, I think she is a pretty sweet yellow bird and she grew on me when I had her. #3: Anchovy
One of the best lazies in the game!! Anchovy reminds me of Eugene Levy and it’s perfection. He is so cozy and sweet. Perfect for natural and/or autumnal islands. I love his sweater and his catchphrase and simply everything about him. A few fun facts: he has a lazy personality, his favorite colors are colorful and orange, his catchphrase is “chuurp,” and he has the play hobby.

Oh gosh, look at her. Piper is such a vibe. I love her catchphrase. I love her facial expressions. I love that she has the play hobby. Seriously invite her if you ever come across her – she will win your heart over. Midge is an underrated queen and I can’t express this enough. Her swirly cheeks are precious. She constantly has her nose in a book. Her coloring is beautiful. And she has a great catchphrase!
