This is an opinion piece, so there are no right or wrong answers! Just sharing my own personal thoughts.

Here are 10 bird villagers in Animal Crossing that truly stand out among the rest. Counting down from…

#10: Tulin

Best Bird Villagers in Animal Crossing

Okay, so he isn’t officially out yet but will be in 2 months. I am putting him at #10 because his design is cool and I’m really excited to get to know a new villager. All we know right now is that he has a jock personality – his favorite colors, catchphrase, and hobby to come!

#9: Jacques

Best Bird Villagers in Animal Crossing

He’s a total hipster, and I am kinda here for the vibe. As far as smug villagers go, he is one of the better ones. A few fun facts: he has a smug personality, his favorite colors are green and black, his catchphrase is “zut alors,” and he has the music hobby.

#8: Admiral

Best Bird Villagers in Animal Crossing

Cool design, cool personality. What’s not to like? He feels very zen grandpa, which is a mood in itself. A few fun facts: he has a cranky personality, his favorite colors are black and blue, his catchphrase is “aye aye,” and he has the nature hobby.

#7: Robin

Best Bird Villagers in Animal Crossing

Aw, I just love robins IRL so she is pretty cute. I love her sing-song catchphrase and think a snooty birdie is perfect. A few fun facts: she has a snooty personality, her favorite colors are aqua and purple, her catchphrase is “la-di-da,” and she has the fashion hobby.

#6: Peck

Best Bird Villagers in Animal Crossing

Kinda eerie but hella cool. I love Peck’s design and I love that he has the play hobby. Birds with the play hobby are the best because it looks like they are about to take flight. A few fun facts: he has a jock personality, his favorite colors are beige and red, his catchphrase is “crunch,” and he has the play hobby.

#5: Sparro

Best Bird Villagers in Animal Crossing

I really like his design and coloring! He has a cool natural vibe going on, if you like you villagers to be neutral. Another play hobby birdie – weee! A few fun facts: he has a jock personality, his favorite colors are green and gray, his catchphrase is “like whoa,” and he has the play hobby.

#4: Twiggy

Best Bird Villagers in Animal Crossing

Okay, her eyebrows are a little intense for me (espcially since she is peppy) but overall, I think she is a pretty sweet yellow bird and she grew on me when I had her. A few fun facts: she has a peppy personality, her favorite colors are pink and blue, her catchphrase is “cheepers,” and she has the fashion hobby.

#3: Anchovy

Best Bird Villagers in Animal Crossing

One of the best lazies in the game!! Anchovy reminds me of Eugene Levy and it’s perfection. He is so cozy and sweet. Perfect for natural and/or autumnal islands. I love his sweater and his catchphrase and simply everything about him. A few fun facts: he has a lazy personality, his favorite colors are colorful and orange, his catchphrase is “chuurp,” and he has the play hobby.

#2: Piper

Best Bird Villagers in Animal Crossing

Oh gosh, look at her. Piper is such a vibe. I love her catchphrase. I love her facial expressions. I love that she has the play hobby. Seriously invite her if you ever come across her – she will win your heart over. A few fun facts: she has a peppy personality, her favorite colors are black and white, her catchphrase is “chickadee,” and she has the play hobby.

#1: Midge

Best Bird Villagers in Animal Crossing

Midge is an underrated queen and I can’t express this enough. Her swirly cheeks are precious. She constantly has her nose in a book. Her coloring is beautiful. And she has a great catchphrase! I love love love LOVE her!! A few fun facts: she has a normal personality, her favorite color is pink, her catchphrase is “tweedledee,” and she has the education hobby.
