There aren’t a ton of chicken villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons but today we are ranking them. I have to be honest up front and say that I am not a huge fan of the chicken villagers. I will do my best to be nice and fair! Let’s figure out who will work best for your island!

#9: Broffina
Unfortunately… it’s a just no from me. I do not enjoy much about this villager. A few fun facts: she has a snooty personality, her favorite colors are black and red, her catchphrase is “cluckadoo,” and she has the music hobby.
#8: Knox
The design is cool and all, but very specific. For that, he is just never gonna make it on my island. If you have a medieval/storybook kinda island, he is a must. A few fun facts: he has a cranky personality, his favorite colors are brown and red, his catchphrase is “cluckling,” and he has the education hobby.
#7: Becky
Like Knox, Becky feels a little specific with her outfit but that can be changed if you gift her clothing. Her colors are nice. A few fun facts: she has a snooty personality, her favorite colors are purple and pink, her catchphrase is “chicklet,” and she has the music hobby.
#6: Benedict
I like his name but that is really all there is to it. He is not very memorable. A few fun facts: he has a lazy personality, his favorite colors are blue and purple, his catchphrase is “uh-hoo,” and he has the play hobby.
#5: Plucky
I started with her once but she didn’t stick around too long. I don’t know how many times I can say “they are okay,” but that is how I feel. She’s just okay! A few fun facts: she has a sisterly personality, her favorite colors are aqua and yellow, her catchphrase is “chicky-poo,” and she has the play hobby.
#4: Goose
Okay, now we are in range of the ones I actually enjoy. I think Goose has a cool design and feels fresh! A few fun facts: he has a jock personality, his favorite colors are blue and white, his catchphrase is “buh-kay,” and he has the fitness hobby.
#3: Ken
I don’t know what it is about Ken but I do really like his zen vibe. He has a decent design for a chicken! A few fun facts: he has a smug personality, his favorite colors are purple and blue, his catchphrase is “no doubt,” and he has the education hobby.
#2: Egbert
Aw, Egbert is cute. I actually am surprised by how much I like his design and I might actually entertain having him on my island at some point. A few fun facts: he has a lazy personality, his favorite colors are beige and brown, his catchphrase is “doodle-duh,” and he has the play hobby.
#1: Ava
Okay, Ava is the one. Her design, though simple, is so pleasing and she seems like a delight. I’d have her on my island! She is perfect for farmcore islands. A few fun facts: she has a normal personality, her favorite colors are gray and red, her catchphrase is “beaker,” and she has the music hobby.
