Let’s talk about springtime in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It is simply *chef’s kiss* as soon as the grass turns that pale green color. The snow melts away and everything feels right again. Personally, spring is my favorite season on the island because it boasts beautiful colors and items. If you tend to lean cottagecore like me, you probably feel the same. It was made for this season.
If you are just starting your journey with a spring island, you may be wondering where to begin. Or maybe you are simply updating your forever island with some spring decor to get into the season. Whatever the case, there are so many items to consider. Let’s make it a bit easier for you, yeah?
A good way to keep track of what you want is to keep this list handy. After playing for years, I have found that these items are the very best for a springcore island. They feel natural, flowery, and a bit gardencore, but that is exactly what we are going for here. Soft colors, natural items… simply a breath of fresh air after a long in-game winter.

Furniture
Let’s start with some of the bigger furniture items. I love leaning into soft/natural wood pieces. The ranch series and the nordic series are both perfect for this. I especially love the nordic shelves as an entryway item inside homes. It looks very cute with a pair of boots or clothing on the wall behind (it comes through and looks like it is hanging up!) I also love the flower display case for those working on a flower shop build. The leaf stool is typically an autumn series item but the green colorway works amazing on a spring island!

Some of my favorite outdoor item furniture sets are the iron garden set and the bistro table (literally want them everywhere).
One set that is slept on is the garden table and chair. I usually see it in white, which is nice, but this spring green is gorgeous!
