Feeding a Plant-Based Baby: What Willow Eats (11-12 months)

Feeding a Plant-Based Baby

Hi everyone – another round-up of what Willow has been eating lately between 11-12 months. So many of you message me for more posts like this, so I hope this is helpful. I honestly don’t mind compiling at all… I just hope they don’t get too repetitive or boring! I don’t make anything too fancy… just a lot of whole and nourishing plant-based ingredients that take usually under 10-20 minutes to prepare. I like fast and easy!

A lot of stuff is not pictured here, too. Willow snacks on a lot of fruit, organic puffs, and smoothies in between her meals… I just don’t always remember to snap a photo.

You may notice that toward the end we started using her silicone mat much more… because she has figured out that swiping your hands across the tray really fast equals food EVERYWHERE. And she enjoys that, apparently. Haha! This mat helps keep that mess contained… for now!

I’m still cutting up her food… if you were like me as a parent (read: paranoid to give bigger chunks) what age did you start? Would love to hear from other mamas. For now, enjoy the food inspiration!
