Hi friends!
If you are following our homeschool journey, this post is for you. I wanted to share the books that we are reading for each theme this year. My daughter, Willow, is turning 4 this month so we are starting pre-k. You can read more about our relaxed plan for the year here if you missed that post. But basically, each month we will be covering a few themes and up first is apples!
We have a few of these books in our home already but the majority are coming from our local library. If you do not have a library card, I am ordering you to go and GET ONE!! FREE BOOKS. I repeat: FREE BOOKS. Depending on your library, you may be able to check out up to 100 books at a time! Isn’t that amazing? If you are a homeschooling parent, please utilize the library. Okay. I’ll get off the soapbox now.
Of course, if you really love the book and need it in your at-home library, then go ahead and buy it. We buy books, too. We prefer shopping Book Outlet for discounted rates but they don’t always have what you are looking for in stock – still, worth browsing! They have so many great ones! But taking them out from the library first is a great way to see how much your child enjoys it before you commit and buy. Anyways, okay. If you like this post, let me know so I can continue on sharing themed books every month. I’m more than happy to keep on sharing.
