We’re reading all about leaves in homeschool for the remainder of September so I wanted to share the books that we have picked up at the library and/or have already. We’ll be reading these throughout the next couple weeks. I like having a mix of both fiction and non-fiction to keep it interesting.
We get the majority of our books from the library, but if you prefer to buy, I highly recommend checking Book Outlet before you buy on Amazon because their books are often times 40-70% off the retail price. They don’t always have what you are looking for in stock, but worth a visit to see!
Here is the full list of themes we have for our preschool year, if you are interested.
NOTE: This post contains affiliate links, which means that I’ll receive a commission if you purchase from this link. This will not change or increase the cost of your purchase. This extra income provides for my family and keeps The Friendly Fig running strong.
We’ll be reading:
- We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt
- The Little Yellow Leaf
- Leaf Man
- Red Leaf, Yellow Leaf
- Leaves (Plant Parts)
- Fletcher and the Falling Leaves
- Sweep
- Fall Walk
- Yellow Time
- Leaves
- Fall Leaves
- The Fall of Freddie the Leaf
Next month we’ll be moving into pumpkins and Halloween so stay tuned for book selections if you like this kinda post! It is my hope that these bring some inspiration to celebrate the season with your own sweethearts. x
