52 Weeks of Seasonally-Inspired Picture Books

Hi friends!

If you have been here a while, you know that I am very seasonally-inspired. I live in New England which gets all four seasons in all their glory. I didn’t always enjoy it, but falling into sync and rhythm with the changing seasons has brought a lot of joy and contentment to my life over the years. (You can see how I combat my winter blues here. Spoiler alert: lots of hygge.) I think seasonally when it comes to meals to traditions and yes, even books. I am totally a mood reader and like to line up certain books with certain times of year. I do this for myself and most especially for my children. Our monthly picture book lists are built on seasonal topics!

So today, I thought it would be fun to try something new and pull together a picture book per week for the entire year. If your seasons are different and/or opposite from mine, feel free to change things around. But I hope you draw some inspiration for your library holds. x
