What I’m Loving Lately vol. 3

Loving Lately 3

Hi friends. I took a little break since my last ~loving lately~ post but now that we have entered my favorite time of year, there is a lot that’s making me happy these days. Aside from you know, the delicious autumn weather we have been having. Foggy mornings, crisp temperatures, leaves fluttering down… *weeee*

– Let’s kick things off with books because that is the most important, right? ;) I have been working my way through fantasy books on my TBR as well as seasonal books bringing all the right vibes. In particular, I picked up The Pumpkin Spice Cafe by Laurie Gilmore because I was seeing it all over IG. I didn’t expect too much, just an easy and fluffy read, but it actually surprised me with how much I enjoyed it. I picked up the second book right after and plan on reading the next one around Christmas (it takes place on the town’s Christmas tree farm!) They reminded me of the Lovelight Farms series by B.K. Borison which are also the most lovely cozy books.

– With my kids, we have been working through The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. We are on the last book now and have enjoyed them all so much. I am going to miss this series when we are done! We cannot wait to see the movie in theaters.

– If you love a good seasonal Starbucks drink, the new pecan crunch oatmilk latte is *fantastic.*

This ASMR room is my favorite ambiance this time of year. I have it on almost every night while I read.

– Oh, and this autumn playlist is the dreamiest to get ready to in the morning or as background music as you go about your day.

– Olive & June nail polish has re-inspired me to do my nails every week and these area few of the autumn colors I have chosen: Sage-y, World Lit, Cable Knit, Fig Ranch, Girl With the Pearl Nail Polish, Coconut Shimmer Gloss, Caramel Budino, Geometry, You’re a 10, Museum Date

– I love playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons while lying in bed with the pillow and blankets piled high. This is my self care. I’ve been decorating my island for fall and added an apple orchard. I am not a big gamer at all, but this is one game I reaaaallly enjoy. It is so cozy. If you play, let me know!!

These Old Navy pajamas are my very favorite. I also grabbed a flannel set, too.

New slippers for the cold months ahead. I look forward to this little treat every year.

– And while speaking about things you wear, these clogs are back in style and I couldn’t be happier. I lived in these during high school. The most comfortable shoe.

– I’ve been making easy rice casseroles for dinner. Anything goes in them. Chickpeas, lentils, whatever veg I have on hand… but my most favorite is a broccoli and cashew cream casserole with chickpeas. I will try to share that recipe hopefully soon.

– Lots of pumpkin and chocolate chip loaves happening around here.

– My favorite pumpkin pie recipe will also be in heavy rotation.

– And because we all love food here, this apple crisp is so comforting and easy. We have been enjoying it with homemade banana nice cream. A dream. Since I have to eat GF now, I omit the flour for oat flour instead.

– Madeleine Olivia always shares the best vegan food and vlogs on YouTube. She recently opened up about her ED and recovery which has resonated with me so much. I have been loving her “I Gained the Weight Back” series. I am always working on my own mindset and I have been feeling a little more healed and confident every day.

– I’ve been watching Office reruns for the millionth time. The best belly laughs at the end of the day.

– Lindt non-dairy oat milk chocolate bars are *swoooooon* my God. I love a square or three at night with a cup of tea.

– Random but have you ever just sat outside and watched the birds prepare to migrate? LOL There have been flocks on our lawn filling up their bellies for the journey and it makes me so happy to watch them.

– I’ve been bopping to Harry Styles – all albums – on repeat these days. I think Fine Line is my favorite but it is hard to choose because Harry’s House also has my heart.

This lip color is so pretty and I wear it almost every day. I am looking for a good wine shade… any recs?
