Earth Day ahead! Mark your calendars for April 22nd and stock up on all the books that celebrate our home. Nature studies are going to be a huge part of our homeschooling journey. Not only because kids are naturally drawn to nature and the outdoors, but because our planet is in some serious trouble if we don’t do better. Your kids are never too young to start talking about how we can be better and do better by Mama Earth.
So April 22nd or not, these books are great to add to your library and open up a dialogue between you and your kids.
We get the majority of our books from the library, but if you prefer to buy, I highly recommend checking Book Outlet before you buy on Amazon because their books are often times 40-70% off the retail price. They don’t always have what you are looking for in stock, but worth a visit to see!
Here is the full list of themes we have for our preschool year, if you are interested.
NOTE: This post contains affiliate links, which means that I’ll receive a commission if you purchase from this link. This will not change or increase the cost of your purchase. This extra income provides for my family and keeps The Friendly Fig running strong.
