Jock villagers are either your favorite or your least favorite. For me personally, they are the weakest of all the personalities… HOWEVER, the ones that I do love, I reaaaaally love. One of my all-time favorite villagers is a jock and he will never be allowed to leave my island.
It isn’t the villagers that I don’t enjoy, honestly, it’s mostly the dialogue that can be a bit boring and too much of the same tracks and I am not a big fan of the fitness hobby. Though a lot of them have the play hobby, which is darling.

12. Jay
I like him for no other crazy reason except that I love swallows and he has a great design for a simple bird. His favorite colors are blue and aqua and he has the fitness hobby.

11. Roald
I am not a big fan of the penguin villagers, but Roald is one of the better ones. He is perfect for wintercore and cozy islands. His favorite colors are red and yellow and he has the fitness hobby.

10. Scoot
What a unique design. I think he is very interesting! His catchphrase is “zip zoom,” which fits him perfectly. His favorite colors are beige and blue and he has the fitness hobby.

9. Sparro
Love his coloring and always appreciate a good bird villager, especially one based on a sparrow. His favorite colors are green and gray and he has the play hobby. I always love when bird villagers are the play hobby because it looks like they are about to take flight. Perfect.

8. Teddy
Teddy is cozy and cuddly and just a great warm villager. I feel like he fits great on cottagecore and/or wintercore islands. His favorite colors are yellow and orange and he has the fitness hobby.
(My kids are also obsessed with Teddy and for that, he gets some points because he reminds me of them.)

7. Bam
Bam has a really adorable design and face, which makes him a good choice if that’s what you’re looking for. I haven’t met a deer villager who I don’t like, honestly. His favorite colors are green and brown and he has the play hobby.

6. Dom
Happiness in villager form… that’s Dom. One of the sweetest sheep villagers in the game. Love his design and his starry eyes. His favorite colors are red and colorful and he has the play hobby, which suits him perfectly. Great addition to the game.

5. Genji
Genji and his catchphrase “mochi” stole my heart. Because also look at him… he reminds me of the Bao bun in Disney’s Pixar short “Bao.” I think he is absolutely awesome and his double-wave melts my heart. His favorite colors are green and purple and he has the fitness hobby.

4. Billy
I think I fell in love with Billy when I made his Happy Homes Paradise house and he requested a pottery studio. He has such a cool zen vibe and I appreciate that. His design is warm and endearing. His favorite colors are blue and purple and he has the play hobby.

3. Rudy
Fun fact: Rudy was my very first villager when I started playing ACNH. He holds a special place in my heart! As far as cat villagers go, he is also one of the cutest. I love his coloring and his sweet button nose. His favorite colors are yellow and beige and he has the play hobby. So cute when he zoomies ’round and ’round.

2. Poncho
Poncho is precious! He’s like a little blueberry bear and I love him so. His catchphrase is “li’l bear,” which is also just as adorable. He is very energetic and he has the fitness hobby. His favorite colors are orange and yellow.

1. Bill
That brings us to one of my favorite ride-or-die villagers of all time. Would do anything for this duck. BILL is a precious baby and you can’t tell me otherwise. His face is absolutely perfection, with his little lock of hair in front, and his play hobby… watching him zoomie around the island is one of the highlights of the game for me. I cannot say enough good things about him. His favorite colors are blue and purple and he looks unbelievable in an aran knit cardigan and pair of rimmed glasses.
