Peppy villagers with their sweet double-waves… they may talk a lot about pop culture and being famous, but they are so sweet. Personally, my island does not feel complete without their exuberant nature and high-energy vibe.
There are a ton of peppy villagers to choose from but today, let’s look at the ones that really stand out. I’ll also be sharing if they are a Subtype A or Subtype B personality (you can read more about that here).

30. Anabelle
Of all the anteaters, Anabelle is certainly the cutest. She has such a vibrant design, which gives me tropical vibes. Her favorite colors are green and blue and she has the fashion hobby.

29. Bonbon
Bonbon may be the queen of sass. Look at her devious little grin. She could be really fun to have around. Her favorite colors are aqua and yellow and she has the play hobby.

28. Patty
Patty is such a cute natural cow. Her warm coloring and sweet face makes it easy to love her. Her favorite colors are orange and red and she has the fashion hobby.

27. Puddles
Puddles is a really sweet pink frog who is often overshadowed by Lily, but is just as adorable, right?! Love her eyes. Her favorite colors are green and pink and she has the fashion hobby.

26. Winnie
As far as horses go, I think Winnie is the cutest of the bunch. She has such pretty coloring for a natural island. Her favorite colors are white and gray and she has the fashion hobby.

Ruby is cute and creepy and I am here for it. She has a total moon rabbit vibe. If you like your villagers to be a little unsettling, go with Ruby. Her favorite colors are aqua and pink and she has the nature hobby.

24. Carmen
She is interesting, right? I think her minimalist design is kinda cool. I like her coloring a lot, too. Her favorite colors are green and beige and she has the fashion hobby.

23. Chrissy
Chrissy has such a sweet twee design! She’s mega popular because of it. If you love girly pop, she is the villager for you. Her favorite colors are white and pink and she has the fashion hobby.

22. Audie
One of the newest additions to the game, the designers really nailed Audie’s design. She is cool and chic and effortless. Those sunglasses. The coloring. She really is amazing. Audie’s favorite colors are green and white and she has the fitness hobby.

21. Flora
An ostrich villager but make her a FLAMINGO! *Chef’s kiss* Flora is just so pretty and vibrant and PINK. Her catchphrase is “pinky,” after all. Her favorite colors are colorful and pink (no surprise there) and she has the play hobby.

20. Sprinkle
Sprinkle is so stinkin’ cute!! Love her design – so icy, wintery, and swiry. She fits so wonderfully on a winter or snowy-themed island. Her favorite colors are aqua and white and she has the play hobby.

19. Bianca
A white tiger villager (who shares my name!) Her design is based on a snow leopard. Bianca’s coloring is just so beautiful and her big blue eyes are lovely. She is another one perfect for a winter or snowy-themed island. Her favorite colors are pink and orange and she has the play hobby.

18. Bunnie
Those eyes! Those rosie cheeks! Aw, Bunnie! How could you not love her? She’s been around since the very beginning, making her a classic. Her favorite colors are green and pink and she has the fashion hobby.

Everyone loves Shino, right? I think she might be one of the most popular villagers. That may be due to her being one of the newest additions to the game, but there is no denying how unique and cool her design is for a deer villager. Her upbeat personality makes her even better. Her favorite colors are red and black and she has the education hobby.

16. Pompom
Did you know that Pompom is named after a cheerleader’s pompom and her catchphrase is “rah rah?” If you love cheerleading, this is the duck for you. Her design is super clean and has a 70’s vibe. She kind of reminds me of the icon Twiggy, to be honest. Her favorite colors are pink and aqua and she has the music hobby.

15. Tangy
A true classic in Animal Crossing. Tangy is a cat that looks like an orange. Her design is so unique and vibrant! Plus, she is just one of the coolest cats in the game. Her favorite colors are green and yellow and she has the music hobby. Her singing voice is absolutely precious.

How. sweet. is. this. girl. Between her blush pink coloring and those big sweet eyes, she is just too precious. Her favorite colors are aqua and green and she has the fashion hobby. If you love pink villagers, she is an instant classic.

13. Dotty
Dotty is such a mood. Have you seen her red eyes when she is surprised or angry? Hysterical. She has great expressions. Also love her design and coloring, as it’s simple and very minimal. She’d actually fit very well on a minimalist island. Her favorite colors are black and blue and she has the fashion hobby.

12. Rosie
This cat is a classic! Rosie is one of the OGs and she is just too perfect. Her coloring and her facial expressions are adorable. Her singing voice is adorable. Her whole vibe is just ADORABLE. Her favorite colors are pink and red and she has the music hobby.

11. Bluebear
One of the cutest cubs in the game, Bluebear is such a delight. With the fashion hobby, she is always walking around with her accessories and bag and loves to spend her time shopping in town. Her favorite colors are blue and white.

10. Maddie
One of the cutest pups in the game. Maddie has a gorgeous coat color and has a great normal/natural design. I think she fits really well on a cottagecore island, if that is your vibe. Her favorite colors are pink and purple and her hobby is play. Her playful nature makes her a really great choice. Such a good doggo.

9. Pippy
Okay, severely severely underrated villager here. There’s something so endearing about Pippy. Her design is unique and her freckles are precious. She is an OG villager, too. Her favorite colors are green and brown and she has the fashion hobby.

8. Twiggy
Twiggy is such a cute yellow bird! All of the birds are underrated but she is a true gem. It wasn’t until I actually had her on my island that I fell in love. She won me over with her facial expressions and cheery design. Her favorite colors are pink and blue and she has the fashion hobby.

7. Ketchup
Ketchup is a fan favorite and how could she not be with this gorgeous design? She is designed to look like a tomato (hence her name) and it just works. Her eyes are darling and her lively disposition is contagious. Her favorite colors are aqua and white and she has the play hobby.

6. Freckles
Freckles has been here since the very beginning of Animal Crossing! She is such a sweet duck with the cutest – you guessed it – freckles. Her favorite colors are green and colorful and her hobby is fashion.

5. Felicity
Felicity is the poster for elegance. She just has such a chic vibe to her design – just look at that bob and those bangs. Her coloring is very appealing, as well. Her favorite colors are yellow and orange and she has the fashion hobby, naturally.

A tiger villager designed after a Bengal tiger… named Bangle… I mean, genius. Look at her. Her coloring and markings are striking and she is just too pretty. Her favorite colors are yellow and green and she has the fashion hobby. Love her pineapple dress, too.

3. Gabi
And another cute bun, and one of my favorite rabbit villagers! Just look at the freckles. That sweet button nose. Gabi is just awesome. Love her design and love her energy. Her favorite colors are red and brown and she has the fashion hobby. Oh, and her catchphrase is “honeybun,” which is PRECIOUS.

2. Piper
Have you ever watched the Disney/Pixar short Piper? This is what I think about each time I see Piper. She is modeled after a sandpiper bird and she gets all the points for it. She is one of my forever-never-ever-leaving villagers for this very reason! Her favorite colors are black and white and she has the play hobby. The play hobby is always endearing, but for some reason when the birds do it… it’s just that much better. She looks like she’s ready to take off flying. If you haven’t had her on your island, I highly recommend you make room for her!

1. Pate
Let’s give it up for this adorable-as-ever blue duck!! There’s something about those concerned eyebrows and those blush cheeks. Pate’s design is unique and her expressions are so endearing. I think she is a very underrated duck villager and as a peppy, she just steals my heart. Her favorite colors are yellow and white and she has the fashion hobby. Also, how much do we love her sunflower dress?
