Just a note: For us, Thanksgiving is a conflicting holiday for a few reasons: one, I was not taught the truth about Native Americans and pilgrims and two, we don’t eat turkey. What we do love is to celebrate with books focused on gratitude, bringing light to the truth, Native American culture, family, friendships, and plant-based harvests. That is what you will find below.
