Feeding a Plant-Based Baby: What Willow Eats (8-9 months)

Feeding a Plant-Based Baby Meal Ideas

I’m always sharing what I eat on here, but now that Willow is starting to eat more than just milk and purées, I wanted to start a series for her, too. We’re raising Willow plant-based as of now (which you can read more about here), so these are all vegan meals. Feeding a plant-based/vegan baby is easy! I hope you enjoy.

If you like the idea of this series, shout it out in the comment or on Instagram. Would love to hear your thoughts.

I’ve been compiling these photos for a bit… from about 7 months on. Some dishes are still purees… you’ll see the transition. I was having a lot of anxiety moving her from puree to mashed to soft to solids. But she’s such a great eater… I didn’t give her enough credit! I just needed to relax. (LOL)

I’ll include product links below if you see anything that sticks out and may work for you and your family. They are affiliate links, so if you purchase, I’ll receive a small commission (no extra charge or anything for you – no worries!) This helps to support my blogging efforts and family. (Thank you!)

  2. This is so inspiring – I appreciate the dedication of keeping all of these photos. The variety of color and textures is what I hope to also encourage our LO to eat. He is just starting on purees at the moment, so I’ll be looking back to these!
